Traffika Bolsters Data Analytics Capabilities Through Merger with Metricks

Over 3 years ago I set about building Traffika with a vision to change the way clients and their digital agencies work together and to build a world class team of digital marketing specialists who are deeply passionate about their craft.  As another step towards this vision, it’s with great pleasure that we announce the merger of leading data analytics company Metricks with Traffika and the appointment of Metricks founder and Managing Director, Jon Whitehead to Head of Data Analytics at Traffika.

The merger involves joining Metricks’ strong Intellectual Property (IP), clients and team of expert data analysts into Traffika’s corporate structure and next-gen digital business generation systems.

It is a logical fit as it enables Jon to focus on his craft while assuming the role of Head of our Data Analytics team. The joining of our businesses will help our clients extract the maximum intelligence and value from the data that underlies their business – a requirement that is becoming mission critical in the today’s business environment.

Based in Brisbane, Metricks is a data analytics firm that helps clients create online marketing strategies and opportunities for conversion and optimisation using data from web analytics. It also provides training for companies to up-skill their in-house marketing team to handle the analytics side of the company’s campaigns.

Jon & I met in 2011 when Traffika and Metricks collaborated for a project. Since then the two companies have started working more closely on other projects until we agreed to formally merge our teams.

Jon says, “I have been impressed by Traffika’s strong growth over the last 3 years and in conversation our goals to provide client delight with integrity aligned perfectly.”

The deal is already yielding benefits to clients as we prepare to roll-out our new Online Intelligence Dashboard solution to clients which brings together all the ‘metrics that matter’ into a single and fully transparent dashboard.
