The story of Traffika® has been over two decades in the making, with its roots in the first evolution of the internet and the early days of online marketplaces.
It all began in 1996 when Matt Forman, a dedicated digital entrepreneur, first witnessed and was fascinated by the disruption that the internet was causing. Version 1.0 of eCommerce was emerging with brands like Amazon, eBay and Google paving the way for businesses to find their feet in the world wide web.
It was about trying to deliver existing products and services over a new medium, and while from a marketing perspective it was almost business as usual, Matt observed that there was a core undercurrent of innovation happening where disruptors didn’t just take the old rules and apply them in a new medium. Instead they made them up as they went along, constantly testing, refining and challenging this brand new avenue.
Inspired by the potential of digital to transform businesses, Matt formed the foundation of Traffika® ; a business that by staying curious, connected and adaptive at all times could innovate and evolve throughout the ever-changing digital landscape.
Traffika® officially launched in 2009 out of a spare bedroom, and we’ve been helping businesses adapt to the disruption of digital ever since.

Uninspired by the encounters Matt experienced as a client himself, Traffika's philosophy was to deliver an experience that was completely opposite; It had to put the client first, be transparent, strategy led, data-driven and operate on a fair value exchange.
Of course to execute it, we needed the right talent. From the moment we began building our team to our most recent recruit, we have always sought to get the balance right between bright up-and-comers who want to disrupt and innovate, and more senior leaders with deep expertise. Together they create the perfect harmony for bringing our philosophy to life.
Our philosophy and our ability to execute it, is what made Traffika® successful so quickly and what enabled us to grow organically while remaining fiercely independent. This solid foundation continues to propel our growth into the future.
What started out as one client with one ad, at one coffee meeting, quickly grew into the international company we are today with offices and clients around the world. Throughout everything, we've found that the secret to success is never losing focus on the fundamentals.
